Dripping Springs ISD
The Dripping Springs Independent School Districtserves approximately 8,600 students and offers a comprehensive curriculum based on the goal of the highest student achievement. DSISD has won five-star ratings from the Texas Comptroller for financial transparency and expenditures, and is one of only seven districts in Texas to be recognized by the AP Board Honor Roll. Dripping Springs High School has a 99 percent graduation rate, with 93 percent of students continuing on to college. The district is made up of five elementary schools: Dripping Springs, Walnut Springs, Sycamore Springs, Cypress Springs and Rooster Springs; Two middle schools:
Dripping Springs Middle School and Sycamore Springs Middle School; and one high school: Dripping Springs High School.
Students living in the Driftwood area attend schools in the Dripping Springs Independent School District. Throughout the district, students perform well above the state average. With a very involved teaching and administrative staff, Dripping Springs schools offer parents transparency and close access to their child’s learning experience.
